Filling Your Cup: The Importance of Self-Care, Part II

Hey, Dear Hearts!

I’m just checking on you after the presidential election. Well, many of you may be anxious about knowing who the next president may be but know that God is still in control. However, let’s take some time to focus on taking care of yourself during this time because self-care is important.

The importance of self-care can’t be underestimated because we all must take care of our physical and mental health in the trying times we are living in today. One of the greatest benefits of self-care is that it reduces stress. One of the many ways to reduce stress is to pamper yourself! Just because you may be on a budget doesn’t mean that you can’t pamper yourself. You don’t have to spend a whole lot of money to give yourself that TLC you very much need. Don’t feel guilty when you pamper yourself because you need an outlet after a long productive work week, whether you have a 9-5 job or you’re a business owner. Some may even dismiss it as selfish and unnecessary. Well, I beg to differ because one of the ways I pamper myself is by taking care of my skin!

I enjoy using strategies to help me stay healthy and look younger such as giving myself a facial using the Glow Oil Skin Repair Serum Infused with Vitamin C. For the last couple of months, I have been treating my face with this product and I have fallen in love with how it makes my skin feel so nourished with a glowing complexion instantly.

I love this product because it is a “patent-pending proprietary blend of 100% naturally extracted oils that are lightweight, moisturizes and revitalizes, smoothes and gives skin that softer more youthful glow. The hydrating blend of oils is rich with antioxidant properties that will restore skin vibrancy and suppleness. This 2-ounce Bottle is approximately a 2 Month Supply.”

I would recommend this product made by Mega Hair in which you can purchase your own bottle at www.megahairco.com to order so you too can look youthful. I promise you won’t be disappointed and will thank me for the recommendation.

There are so many other ways to pamper yourself without spending a whole lot of money, but I’m going to share just two of my favorites like:

1. Taking A Bubble Bath: We live in such a fast-paced world that taking a long relaxing bath can be difficult when you have other obligations. However, make the time to soak for a while in your favorite bath bombs and oils to relax you after a long day.

2. Reading A Great Book along with you a nice warm tea or you can just choose to just sleep in for the day giving your body time to reset and recover which will leave you refreshed and rejuvenated. Simply pick you a day on your schedule and get you some needed rest.

It is okay to set aside time for self-care and enjoy your life and make sure your own needs are being met but be sure to eat well, sleep enough, and find ways that you love to meet your personal needs to enhance your life.
